Zachary Plato

Zachary Plato is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in DevOps and software engineering. Currently serving as a Senior DevOps / Software Engineer at CTG since April 2025, Zachary is focused on establishing a DevOps practice utilizing Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Kubernetes, while also designing data platform integrations across various technologies. Previously, as a Lead DevOps Engineer at Wabtec Corporation from August 2022 to August 2025, Zachary led cross-functional teams and mentored junior engineers. Earlier roles included Technical Lead - Software Engineering and Software Engineer III at Northrop Grumman, where Zachary developed mission-critical applications and optimized data processing systems, and as an Electrical Engineer II at KIHOMAC, where Zachary improved troubleshooting processes for the A-10 Aircraft's fuel systems. Zachary's military background includes service as a Vertical Engineer with the Utah Army National Guard. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Weber State University.
