Alison Woodworth

Alison Woodworth is a Clinical Director for Global Laboratory Services at CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services since August 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Professor in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine from September 2016 to August 2022, and various positions at Vanderbilt University, such as Associate Professor of Pathology, Microbiology, and Immunology, and Director of the Clinical Chemistry Fellowship Program from 2010 to August 2016. Additionally, Alison held roles at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, including Associate Director of Clinical Chemistry and Director of Esoteric Chemistry from January 2007 to August 2016. Alison has contributed to the field through leadership positions in professional organizations, including Chair of the Editorial Board for NACBlog and Chair of the Southeast Local Section of AACC. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Molecular Cell Biology and a BS in Molecular Biology from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and Vanderbilt University, respectively.
