Zongjie (Daniel) Wang is a multidisciplinary researcher with extensive experience in bioengineering, biomedical engineering, and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as a Research Fellow and Group Leader at the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub Network since January 2024, Zongjie is also a Founding Scientist at CTRL Therapeutics. Prior roles include Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Northwestern University under the supervision of Dr. Shana Kelley, Thoracic Surgery Trainee at University Health Network, and Researcher PhD Student at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto. Zongjie's academic background includes a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Toronto, a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Computer Science from Tianjin University.
