Akashneel Maiti (He/Him)

Akashneel Maiti has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. In 2022, they worked as an Automation Engineer at CtrlS Datacenters Ltd. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2021, they served as an IT Programmer and Web Developer. In 2019, Akashneel participated in a Postgraduate Industry Experience Studio Project at Thoughtworks and Monash University, where they developed an interactive website called "VicGenesis." Their responsibilities included coding in C# ASP.NET, cloud hosting, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessment. Before that, in 2015, they worked as a Unix Developer at the Indian Institute of Technology, and in 2014, they were a Web Developer at the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC).

Akashneel Maiti began their education journey in 2010 at Hartmann College, where they completed their high school education and obtained an Indian School Certificate (ISC) in 2012. Following this, they attended Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2016, earning a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science & Engineering.

In 2017, Akashneel enrolled at Monash University to pursue a Master of Networks and Security in Information Technology, completing their studies in 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Akashneel Maiti has obtained various certifications. In January 2022, they received an International credential evaluation (IDW) certification from Nuffic. In August 2022, they acquired multiple certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS), including AWS Partner: Accreditation (Business), AWS Partner: Accreditation (Technical), Migration Ambassador Foundations (Business) 2022, and Well-Architected Proficient. Akashneel also obtained a Back End Development and APIs certification from freeCodeCamp in September 2022.
