Alessandra Carneiro

Alessandra Carneiro is an experienced news anchor and video journalist currently working at CTV News since October 2018, where responsibilities include reporting and anchoring during weekend broadcasts at 6 p.m. Prior to this role, Alessandra was a Weekend Anchor and Video Journalist at Bell Media from February 2016 to October 2018, contributing to advertising campaigns as a Radio Sales Advertising Coordinator and supporting daily operations. Earlier experience includes serving as a Morning Show Assistant at 104.5 CHUM FM, where content preparation and on-air participation were key tasks, as well as working on the Promotions Team. Alessandra initiated a career as a News Reporter at Cogeco Média, focusing on local news and sports coverage. Alessandra holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Media Communication from Brock University, completed in 2016.
