Heather Butts is a seasoned news correspondent with extensive experience in broadcasting. Currently serving as a News Correspondent at CTV News since March 2020, Heather previously held roles as Morning News Anchor and Reporter at CTV Atlantic and as a News Anchor, Reporter, and Weather Host at CTV Barrie. Additional experience includes hosting and producing "go! Sea to Sky" on Shaw TV and various roles in videography, anchoring, and producing at CKWS TV and CHEX TV. Heather has also worked as a Media Relations Coordinator for VANOC during the 2010 Paralympics. With a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Guelph and a Journalism Diploma from Humber College, Heather combines academic training with hands-on expertise in journalism and media production.
