Archana Kotu

Archana Kotu has a diverse work experience in various roles related to data science and software development. Archana is currently working as a Lead Data Scientist at Co-op Solutions since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Corteva Agriscience as a Data Scientist, where they specialized in remote sensing data analysis, bloom detection, and nematode infestation detection using satellite imagery. Archana also worked on demand forecasting and product lifecycle management projects using exploratory data analysis and modeling.

Before joining Corteva Agriscience, Archana worked at Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc. as a Scientific Programmer and developed analytic pipelines for research data management. Archana also worked as a Software Development Specialist, where they developed applications for high throughput genotyping. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Research Associate, focusing on the development of analytical tools for genotypic data analysis.

Archana began their career as a Software Analyst at Tata Consultancy Services, where they gained experience in software development. Throughout their career, Archana has utilized various tools such as Linux, shell scripting, Python, C#/.NET, SQL, Oracle, Informatica, Matplotlib, Gephi, Flask, BLAST, and BOWTIE.

Archana Kotu earned their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Warangal from 1996 to 2000. Archana then pursued a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University from 2001 to 2003.
