Ricardo Sam Chimes

Ricardo Sam Chimes has worked in a variety of roles in the logistics and operations field since 2008. Ricardo began their career at Kuehne + Nagel as an Operational Key Account Manager (OKAM), where they controlled warehouse and distribution operations for three key customers. In 2012, they joined RISAM International Solutions as an Associate Consultant, providing advice on logistics solutions and consulting on projects related to continuous improvement. That same year, they also joined CINLAT Logistics as a Logistics and Transportation Manager, managing warehouse operations for high-tech products and toys. In 2014, they took on the role of Director of Operations and Supply Chain at TAASA Logistics, where they managed the P&L of the Operations department, developed an operational strategy, and implemented processes for continuous improvement in the logistics chain. In 2017, they moved to Lacoste as an Operations Manager - Supply Chain. In 2019, they became National Logistics Manager at Diversey, where they managed the P&L of the Operations department, developed an operational strategy, and implemented a distribution tracking system. In 2020, they took on the role of Distribution Center Manager - Site Operations Manager at GXO Logistics, Inc., controlling the warehouse and distribution operations of customers, managing the P&L, and controlling expenses. Finally, in 2021, they became Logistics Subdirector at Cuidado con El Perro, and in 2022 they were appointed Head of Operations at Cubbo.

Ricardo Sam Chimes completed a Lic. En Comercio Internacional from Tecnológico de Monterrey from 1997 to 2002, specializing in Supply Chain. Ricardo then went on to pursue a Maestria en Administracion Internacional from Universidad Anáhuac from 2002 to 2004, also specializing in Supply Chain. Afterwards, they completed a Maestria en Logistica Internacional from Universidad Anáhuac from 2004 to 2006, specializing in Almacenaje y Distribucion. Ricardo then completed a Maestria en Derecho Aduanero y Comercio Exterior from Centro Universitario de Estudios Jurídicos from 2016 to 2018. Lastly, they completed a Diplomado en Alta Gerencia from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México from 2018 to 2019, specializing in Manejo de Personal.
