David Baker

David Baker is the current Group CTO at CubeLogic. David has over 12 years of experience in risk management, including market, credit, and operational risk.

David started their career at BHP Billiton as a Market Risk Coordinator. David then moved to Noble Group as a Senior Project Manager for Risk Systems. In 2011, they joined BTG Pactual as a Technology Manager for Commodities Risk Systems, where they were responsible for developing new risk systems and establishing the risk technology team.

In 2016, David left BTG Pactual to join Lacima Group as a Product Manager and Quantitative Services Manager. David then moved to BP in 2018 as an Enterprise Architect for Market and Credit Risk. In their current role at CubeLogic, David is responsible for defining the company's systems architecture and technology strategy.

David Baker has a Bachelor of Science with 1st Class Honours in Mathematics from the Australian National University, a Masters of Quantitative Finance from the University of Technology Sydney, and a Bachelor of Laws with Honours in Law from the Australian National University.

David Baker reports to Lee Campbell, Co-Founder & CEO. They work with Charley James - Head, Marketing, Richard Bourne - Pre-Sales & Product SME, and Natallia Hunik - Chief Revenue Officer.
