Barry Napier is the current CEO of Cubic Telecom. Barry was previously the Chairman of BPI Telecom from January 2000 to July 2012. During their time at BPI Telecom, the company had contracts with major companies such as Apple, O2, 3, Vodafone, Ryanair, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Emi, and Universal Music. This gave the group a turnover of over €150 million and kept them in the Top 300 Irish Companies. Barry Napier was a major contributing factor in the continued growth and success of BPI Telecom Ltd over the past decade. Barry is an innovative thinker and business leader who has harnessed their original ideas, approaches, and solutions to ensure the delivery of complex projects involving commercial, organisational, and technical challenges. Barry combines hands-on experience with direct business acumen to set the strategic direction for their team and drive the business forward. Prior to going into partnership with Fergus Sweeney in 2000, Barry worked in the telecoms arena since 1994. Barry believes that service is paramount and that traditional distributors are little more than box shifters. Barry wanted BPI Telecom to be more than that and added a service element to the whole business of mobile distribution, delivering solutions to their customers that they value. Through identifying key players in the industry and appointing them to the management team, and by engaging their open and approachable management style, Barry and their team have lead BPI Telecom to various new and successful business opportunities. Alongside their management team, Barry has provided a wide range of solutions to networks, retailers, and corporates.

Barry Napier has a degree in business administration from the Cambridge Judge Business School. Barry has experience working in both the public and private sectors.
