Damian Power

Damian Power has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Damian currently holds the position of Principal Engineer at Cubic Telecom, where they have been working since 2020. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Software Developer at the same company from 2020 to 2022.

Before joining Cubic Telecom, Damian worked at Symantec as a Principal Engineer from 2013 to 2020. In this role, they were a member of the Symantec RuleSpace team, which focused on web categorization services.

Earlier in their career, Damian worked at OmniMotion Technology as a Lead Software Developer from 2010 to 2013. At OmniMotion Technology, they were responsible for the development of motion-controlled gaming applications and websites.

Prior to OmniMotion, Damian worked at Valista as a Senior Software Engineer from 2001 to 2009. Damian worked on various products during their time at Valista, serving as an architect, designer, and developer.

Damian's earlier experience includes roles as a Software Engineer at Critical Path from 1996 to 2001, a Software Engineer at Point Information Systems from 1993 to 1996, and a Software Engineer at Glockenspiel from 1991 to 1993.

Damian began their career as a Programmer at Emerald Software in 1989, where they worked from March to October of that year.

Damian Power obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Applied Computing from the Waterford Institute of Technology for the duration of 1986 to 1990.
