SVP of Business Development at CUJO AI

Marcio Avillez is currently the SVP of Business Development at CUJO AI. Prior to their current position, Avillez served as the SVP Networks for Cirrent from September 2015 to September 2017. Their responsibilities included making the internet of things easy for mainstream consumers while helping operators provide great experiences for their customers.

Avillez has also held the position of Senior Vice President, Network Services for iPass from August 2009 to July 2015. In this role, they led the Global Network Development and OMX Product teams. The Global Network team managed relationships globally with Wi-Fi operators, mobile carriers and fixed line operators whose services were bundled in with iPass managed mobility solutions. The OMX product team developed solutions that leveraged the iPass core platform capabilities to deliver mass-market Wi-Fi solutions to Service Providers and Mobile Carriers.

Avillez's other positions include Vice President Product Management for Level 3 Communications from July 2000 to August 2009 and Product Manager for 360Networks from March 2000 to July 2000. Marcio began their career as a Summer Associate for MCI Communications from January 1997 to December 1998.

In addition to their work in the corporate world, Avillez has also served on the board of directors for the Wireless Broadband Alliance from November 2011 to July 2015.

Marcio Avillez has an MBA from Georgetown University in General Management and a Bachelor of Science cum laude in Physics from American University. Marcio also has a master of business administration in Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro.

Their manager is Remko Vos, CEO. Marcio Avillez works with Kimmo Kasslin - VP of Research Laboratories, Indre Raviv - SVP of Marketing, and Santeri Kangas - CTO.
