Jim Peters

Jim Peters is an accomplished logistics and transportation professional with extensive experience overseeing multimillion-dollar budgets and optimizing transportation operations across various companies. Currently serving as the Director of Logistics at Culpeper Wood, Jim manages a $35 million outbound freight budget for 17 plants and leads a team of dispatch supervisors. Previously, at Cornerstone Building Brands, Jim held the role of Director of Transportation for the Windows Division, where responsibilities included managing a $250 million outbound budget and conducting weekly performance reviews with carriers. Jim's career also includes significant roles at Office Depot, Kelsan, and multiple other firms, contributing to cost-saving initiatives and enhancing delivery efficiencies. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography with a minor in Transportation and Logistics from Western Illinois University.
