Alexandria Deters

Alexandria Deters serves as a Scholar Enrichment Associate and Visual Arts Lead Teacher at Success Academy Charter Schools since December 2022, engaging students in art and design while implementing creative lesson plans for 9th and 10th graders. Deters has contributed writings to UP Magazine and Cultbytes, showcasing a focus on creativity and LGBTQ+ themes. As a freelance writer, Deters has published multiple articles on art and culture. Previous roles include Fine Art Appraiser Consultant at O'Toole-Ewald Art Associates, Teaching Assistant at Sotheby's Institute of Art, and various writing positions that highlight expertise in art appraisal and criticism. Alexandria Deters holds a Master of Arts in American Fine and Decorative Art from Sotheby's Institute and a Bachelor's degree in Art History and Women and Gender Studies from San Francisco State University.
