Dr. Daniel Manriquez's work experience includes being the Director of Research and Development at Cultiva LLC since 2022. In this role, they set the direction and activities for the Research and Development Team and leads strategies, programs, and initiatives to develop and commercialize cutting-edge technologies for crop quality and yield improvement. Dr. Daniel Manriquez has a diverse educational background in the fields of biochemistry, agriculture, and horticulture. Dr. Daniel obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from ENSAT, which they attended from 2002 to 2006. Prior to this, they completed a Postharvest technology short course at the University of California, Davis in 2001.
In 1999, Dr. Manriquez graduated from the Facultad de Ciencias Agronómicas de la Universidad de Chile with a degree in Agronomy, specializing in Agriculture, General. During their time at the university, they earned an Engineer's Degree in Agronomy with a specialization in horticulture and fruits production. Dr. Daniel attended the Facultad de Ciencias Agronómicas de la Universidad de Chile from 1992 to 1997.
