DeeAnn Martinez-Guzman, Ph.D.

DeeAnn Martinez-Guzman, Ph.D., has a strong background in scientific research and cell culture. DeeAnn currently works as a Cell Culture Scientist at Culture Biosciences, starting in February 2023. Previously, they served as a Principal Scientist at Eat Just, Inc. from January 2022 to March 2023.

Their extensive experience includes working as a Research Scientist II at GRIFOLS DIAGNOSTIC SOLUTIONS from April 2015 to February 2022. In this role, DeeAnn was responsible for leading research efforts and developing clean-room cleaning procedures to maintain cell culture lab cleanliness. DeeAnn Martinez-Guzman, Ph.D. pursued their education in the field of Molecular Biology. DeeAnn obtained their Bachelor's degree in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from UCLA, completing their studies from 1997 to 1999. Later, they continued their academic journey at UCLA and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Molecular Biology, which they completed from 1997 to 2006.
