Vy Pham

Vy Pham has worked for a number of companies since 2016. In 2016, they worked as a Chemistry Tutor for Penji and a PCR Laboratory Assistant for the UC Davis Veterinary Genetics Laboratory. In 2017, they worked as a Pomology Laboratory Assistant for the UC Davis Department of Plant & Environmental Sciences, a Process Development Fermentation Intern for Intrexon Corporation, and a FTIR & Weigh Laboratory Research Assistant for the Crocker Nuclear Laboratory: Air Quality Research Group. In 2018, they worked as a Fermentation Research Associate - Process Development & Strain Screening for Intrexon Corporation. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a BioProcess Production Manager for UPSIDE Foods and a BioProcess Engineer and BioProcess Engineer II for Culture Biosciences. Throughout their career, Vy Pham has designed and led production runs, managed teams of lab technicians, and optimized parameters for bacterial colony reproduction.

Vy Pham obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering with a Minor in Materials Science from the University of California, Davis between 2014 and 2018. Additionally, in April 2018, Vy obtained an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification from NCEES, and is certified in CPR & Basic First-Aid.
