Daniel Devine, a Process Development Scientist at UPSIDE Foods, led projects in developing novel seafood cell lines and scalable tissue engineering-based bioprocesses. Prior to this role, as a Senior Research Associate at Cultured Decadence, Daniel contributed to building an intellectual property portfolio for cultivated seafood. With a Master of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago, Daniel's research experience includes developing technology platforms for hydrogel scaffolds and investigating protein structural dynamics related to muscle aging.
