Paula Clares

Paula Clares is an accomplished Additive Manufacturing Engineer with extensive experience in the field, currently serving in the role of Additive Manufacturing Engineer II at Cumberland Additive, Inc. since May 2022. Clares previously held positions as Additive Manufacturing Engineer I at the same company and as a Research Assistant at Penn State University under the advisement of Dr. Guha Manogharan. Additional experience includes internships at ExOne and EOS, where skills in operating advanced manufacturing machinery and designing lattice specimens were developed. Early career roles at BMW Manufacturing Co., LLC, and Virginia Tech involved IT and research projects focused on bioprinting and monitoring processes for 3D printing. Clares holds a Master of Science in Additive Manufacturing and Design from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech.
