Garry Crumpler

Garry Crumpler, B.Sc., AEMT, CEM, currently serves as the Emergency Management Coordinator and Emergency Management Planner for Cumberland County, NC, since November 2019. Prior to this role, Crumpler worked as a Firefighter for BENHAVEN EMERGENCY SERVICES INC. from November 2015 to November 2019 and held a similar position at Chapel Hill Fire Department from March 2015 to November 2019, where Crumpler was also an EMT. Previous experience includes serving as an EMT Intermediate with Lumberton Rescue Squad from October 2014 to February 2015, a Firefighter for the City of Lumberton from May 2012 to February 2015, and an Emergency Medical Technician with Robeson County EMS from May 2010 to February 2015. Crumpler began the career as an Emergency Medical Technician at American Medical Response from May 2010 to May 2012. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Fire Science from Purdue Global (2015-2017) and an Associate’s Degree in Fire Protection from Fayetteville Technical Community College (2010-2013).
