Cindy Burkett, PHR, SHRM-CP

Cindy Burkett, PHR, SHRM-CP has held several Human Resources positions since 1998. Cindy began their career as Human Resources Manager at Carstone Industries. In this role, they were responsible for a broad range of HR functions, including recruiting and training employees, administering benefits, overseeing disciplinary action and managing HR records. In 2008, they moved to Safe Auto Insurance as Human Resources Manager, where they helped open a new company branch in Somerset, Kentucky and guided the startup and management of a full spectrum of HR operations, systems, and programs. In 2012, they became Human Resources Director at Tantus Tobacco. In 2014, they began their current role as Director of Human Resources at Cumberland Family Medical Center, Inc. In this role, they develop organization strategies, implements human resources strategies, and manages human resources operations.

Cindy Burkett holds a Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) certification from HRCI, which they obtained in April 2020. Cindy also holds a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM, which they obtained in March 2015. Cindy attended Somerset Community College.
