Sean Bortz

Sean Bortz is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in the field of history. Currently serving as an Associate Professor of History at Concordia University Irvine since July 2022, Bortz also holds the position of Assistant Professor of History at Cumberland University since August 2018. Previous roles include Academic Adviser and Degree Certification Officer at the University of Kentucky from September 2001 to July 2007, and Production Control Specialist at AWP Industries, Inc. from September 2000 to August 2001. Bortz's military background includes serving as an Air Defense Artillery Officer in the US Army from May 1996 to June 2000.
