Fernando Tovar Mena

Fernando Tovar Mena is a seasoned construction manager with extensive experience in overseeing large-scale projects in Peru, particularly in the mining and infrastructure sectors. Currently serving as Gerente de Proyecto Adjunto at CUMBRA since May 2021, Fernando is involved in the construction of the Planta de Flotación de Partículas Gruesas for Anglo American / Fluor, with a contract value of US$ 89 million. Previously, Fernando held the position of Gerente de Contratos for the Planta Concentradora project, managing a contract worth US$ 521 million at CUMBRA and Grupo Graña y Montero. Fernando has also successfully led various other significant projects, including those at Tecno Fast, CyJ ECHEVERRÍA IZQUIERDO, and GyM S.A. Fernando holds a Master's degree in Direction of Construction from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas and a Civil Engineering degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
