Dan Smirl

Dan Smirl is a Senior Project Manager at Cumming Group, a position held since August 2022. Prior to this, Dan served as a Construction Manager at DMS Construction Services from May 1998 to August 2022 and at Gleeds USA from September 2016 to October 2021. Notably, Dan contributed to the construction and renovation of the Mercedes Plant in Vance, AL, for the new electric SUV, EVA2. With a comprehensive background in construction management dating back to 1984, Dan has worked with various companies, including Boyken International, CPX Design Build, WELBRO Constructors, and Mellon Stuart, and also operated a construction consulting firm. Dan earned a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from Auburn University between 1979 and 1984.
