Prashant Potdar

Prashant Potdar is an experienced professional in purchasing and supply chain management, currently serving as Global Purchasing Manager at Cummins Generator Technologies since November 2021. Prior to this, Prashant held various positions at Jaguar Land Rover from June 2011, including Senior Buyer Purchasing, where responsibilities included developing sourcing strategies for key engine components with an annual spend of £150 million and collaborating with senior management to analyze supplier proposals. Additionally, Prashant served as Stand-In Purchasing Manager, overseeing team operations in the absence of direct leadership. Previous experience includes a role as Strategy Lead at Jaguar Land Rover and Assistant Manager Purchase at Suzuki Powertrain India Ltd. Academically, Prashant holds an MBA in Finance from Nottingham University Business School and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Jalandhar.
