David Ashworth

David Ashworth is an experienced engineering professional with extensive expertise in combustion performance and system performance engineering. Currently serving as the System Performance Team Leader at Cummins Inc. since June 2017, responsibilities include leading and mentoring team members, coordinating cross-functional project work, and supporting the development of newer engineers. Previously, as a Combustion Performance Emissions Engineer, significant contributions involved developing engine performance strategies and conducting emissions testing. Prior experience includes roles as a Combustion Research Assistant and Security Guard at Brigham Young University and an Aerospace Engineer Intern at SkyCraft Airplanes. David Ashworth holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
