Elom Akibode

Elom Akibode, MBA, currently serves as a Technical Specialist and Group Leader in Application & Controls Software at Cummins Inc. since January 2012, where responsibilities include providing technical direction, contributing to project success, and managing both direct and indirect reports. Prior roles at Cummins include Senior Software Controls Engineer and Software Controls Engineer, focusing on the design and implementation of embedded controls software utilizing Matlab/Simulink. Earlier experience includes a position as a Student Assistant at the University of North Texas, where Elom designed microfluidic and optical antennas, and as a Webmaster for a project aimed at advancing rural libraries. Elom holds a Master of Business Administration from IUPUC and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Texas, alongside an Associate of Science in Electrical Engineering from Grayson College.
