Nishant Deshpande

Nishant Deshpande is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in mechanical design and customer project leadership. Currently serving as the Customer Project Engineering Leader and Global Customer Order Engineering Leader (Mechanical) at Cummins Inc. since July 2021, Nishant has previously held roles as a Senior Conceptual Design Engineer and a Body Design Engineer at Toyota Motor Europe - Research & Development from March 2015 to June 2021. Prior experience includes a position as a Mechanical Design Engineer (R&D) at Blue Star Limited and as an Operations Lead at Spartan Shops Inc., focusing on inventory management and customer service. Nishant holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) with Honours in Mechanical Engineering from Coventry University, obtained between 2011 and 2013.
