Sorin Smalley

Sorin Smalley currently serves as the Corporate Finance Systems Leader at Cummins Inc., overseeing the IT portfolio for the Cummins Back Office Shared Service Center since March 2015. Previously, Sorin held several positions at the University of Tennessee, including Principal Business Analyst, Finance Transition Project Manager, and Director of Special Projects, where responsibilities focused on enhancing business practices for leaner operations. In an earlier role as the Transportation and Communication Event Coordinator at the University of Tennessee Conference Center, Sorin was instrumental in the strategic planning and logistics for the Destination Imagination event, significantly impacting the region's economy. Sorin's career began as an IT Employee at Kirk, Fortner, where technical support was provided to the organization.
