William Welscher

William (Bill) Welscher is an accomplished engineering executive with extensive experience in the power systems and software sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering in Controls and Automatic Transfer Switch for Cummins Inc., William oversees global engineering responsibilities for a diverse portfolio of Automatic Transfer Switch products. Previously, as Director of Software at Sauer-Danfoss, William established a global software service organization and managed the full software product life cycle. William also held leadership roles at TSD, where responsibilities included general management and board membership, and at Sauer-Danfoss, directing global engineering efforts for electromechanical and software solutions. William's educational background includes an MBA from Drake University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Agricultural Engineering from North Dakota State University.
