Yimu Ding

Yimu Ding is an accomplished materials management professional currently leading a global materials team at Cummins Inc. since 2021, ensuring complete materials availability for OEMs and end customers at the Jamestown Engine Plant. Prior to this role, Yimu served as Business Development Manager at Wolong Electric Group, where significant achievements included acquiring over ten OEM customers and generating $8 million in sales for a new smart motor product line. Yimu's career also includes experience as a Material Planner at Whirlpool Corporation, achieving a “0-day delay” performance in engineering prototype production, an Engineering Co-op at Magna International, and a Manufacturing Intern at Michigan State University Plant Research Laboratories, focusing on innovative manufacturing methods. Yimu holds a Master of Science in Supply Chain Management from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Engineering Sciences from Michigan State University.
