Alan Bird

Alan Bird has a diverse work experience. Alan started their career in 1997 as an IT Network Consultant at ResNet - UW-Platteville, where they worked closely with Network Administrators and students to set up and grant access to the online campus network. Alan gained experience in troubleshooting and providing solutions. In 1999, they joined Lands' End as an IT Project Manager, where they utilized technology to solve business issues and demonstrated excellent communication and team leadership skills. Alan worked with all organizational levels and external clients and vendors. In 2000, while still at Lands' End, they took on the role of IT QA Analyst - Internet QA Coordinator, responsible for creating detailed testing plans and coordinating end-to-end testing efforts on internet-based projects. In 2012, they joined CUNA Mutual Group as an IT Project Manager & IT Technology Lead. Alan has also worked as a Tour Guide at Capital Brewery for six years, from 2012 to 2018.

Alan Bird attended the University of Wisconsin-Platteville from 1995 to 2000, where they studied Business Administration with a focus on Computer Science, Marketing, and Graphic Design. Alan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Communications with a specialization in Marketing and Graphic Arts.
