Anne Kuban

Anne Kuban is a highly experienced attorney currently serving as a Shareholder at Cunningham Meyer & Vedrine, P.C. since January 2022, after a long tenure as a Partner at BARKER, CASTRO, KUBAN & STEINBACK, LLC, from November 2006 to January 2022. Anne specializes in representing clients in cases involving birth trauma defense, surgical errors, and medical malpractice, serving both physicians and nurses before the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. Prior experience includes nearly a decade as an Assistant State's Attorney with the Cook County State's Attorney's Office, where Anne represented the City of Chicago in complex product liability cases and prosecuted a wide range of felony and misdemeanor jury trials, with particular focus on cases of gang violence and employment discrimination defense. Anne holds a J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Denison University.
