Donna McKendry

Donna McKendry has over 18 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on nursing management and perioperative services. Donna most recently served as the CEO of Cura Day Hospitals Group starting in February 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Nurse Manager at Alfred Health from August 2020 to February 2022. Donna also worked as the Director of Nursing at Vision Eye Institute from April 2018 to July 2020. Donna has extensive experience in perioperative services management, including roles at Ramsay Health Care and St John of God Health Care. Donna has a strong background in coordinating and managing healthcare operations.

Donna McKendry is currently studying towards a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Central Queensland University, starting in 2020. Donna also holds a Registered Midwife certification obtained from the Royal Women's Hospital in Carlton, Victoria, in 1993 and a Registered Nurse certification obtained from Latrobe Valley Hospital in 1987. Donna completed their high school education at Marist Sion College in Warragul, Victoria, from 1978 to 1983.

In addition to their formal education, Donna has obtained various certifications. Donna completed a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from Central Queensland University in November 2021. Donna also holds certifications as a Registered Midwife and Registered Nurse from the Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), obtained in January 1993 and January 1988, respectively.

Donna has pursued additional professional development through various programs and courses. Donna completed a course on Finance for Non-Finance Managers at the University of Melbourne Business School in 2009. Donna also participated in an Executive Development Program at St John of God Healthcare in 2008. In 2007, they obtained a Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment from Victoria University.
