Tony Gamboa

Tony Gamboa has over 9 years of experience in Hospitalist related activities and has recently expanded their expertise to include consulting and training for new Hospitalist programs. Tony is currently the President of Curana Health Medical Group and has been a member of the editorial advisory board for medical economics since September 2017. Prior to their current positions, Tony served as the Chief of Medicine at HCA from February 2012 to September 2013 and as an independent contractor from April 2009 to November 2015.

Tony Gamboa has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Texas McCombs School of Business, a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from The University of Texas Medical Branch, and a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology, General from The University of Texas at El Paso. Tony is also Internal Medicine Board Certified from the American Board of Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Care Board Certified from the American Board of Internal Medicine. Tony has a residency from an unknown school and is certified as a Medical Director from AMDA - The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine.
