Leila Henderson has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Leila Henderson currently serves as the National Quality Director of Nursing at Curative since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Principal Consultant and Founder at Ballast Group, LLC starting from December 2019. Leila has also been an Adjunct Faculty at Southern New Hampshire University since September 2018.

In their previous roles, Leila worked as the Service Line Development and Specialty Clinic Operations Manager at Lawrence General Hospital from August 2019 to February 2021. Leila Henderson also worked as a Freelance Content Editor at Elsevier from January 2018 to December 2020.

Leila Henderson holds an ADN degree in Nursing, which they obtained from Manchester Community College between 2008 and 2010. Leila Henderson further pursued their education at the University of New Hampshire, earning a BA in Political Science and a minor in Business Administration from the UNH Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics from 2002 to 2006. Leila then attended Saint Joseph's College from 2011 to 2016, earning a dual MSN/MHA degree in Nursing and Healthcare Administration. Additionally, Leila has obtained various certifications such as Certified Professional in Health Information and Management Systems from HIMSS, and Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality from the National Association for Healthcare Quality. Leila Henderson is also certified in Patient Safety, and has expertise in Epic software in various modules such as ASAP, Classist, Inpatient Clindoc, and Inpatient Procedural Orders. Leila is also a certified Patient-Centered Medical Home Content Expert by the NCQA, holds a Six Sigma Green Belt, and is a TeamSTEPPS Master Trainer recognized by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality.
