Elly Chemey

Elly Chemey began service as the Executive Director at CURE Malawi in 2019. Originally from Kenya, Elly is no stranger to the country of Malawi, having served there with various mission organizations and NGOs for 17 years prior to joining CURE. Elly most recently worked for Child Legacy International and previously for Clinton Health Access Initiative, Catholic Health Commission, and Trinity Mission Hospital.

Elly trained and practiced as a clinician in Malawi before earning his bachelor’s degree in HIV/AIDS management from International University of Management (Namibia). Later he attained graduate degrees from Stellenbosch University (South Africa) and United States International University (Kenya).
