Tongai Chitsamatanga

Dr. Tongai Chitsamatanga serves as a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon at CURE Children’s Hospital of Zimbabwe. With his passion for mending and correcting broken and deformed bones, Dr. Tongai leaves every patient with a smile. He studied medicine at the University of Zimbabwe in Harare, and did fellowships at Beit-CURE Malawi and in the UK. After school, he had an internship at Parirenyatwa Hospital, and then worked at Mutambara Mission Hospital for six years. Dr. Tongai fell in love with CURE’s Christian environment when he did his fellowship at Beit-CURE Malawi, so we’re happy to have him with us.
