From 2016 to 2019, they were an Employee Benefits Specialist at CMR Risk & Insurance Services, an independent risk management and human capital consulting firm. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Territory Sales Specialist at Quikrete, a company specializing in fast setting and high strength concrete and cement products. In 2013, they worked as a Technology Consultant at MRC Smart Technology Solutions, a Xerox Company, and as a Legal Assistant at Bradford & Barthel. In 2011, they were a Studio Intern at 97.5 The Fanatic, providing assistance to producers and show hosts and editing content for on air advertising and marketing initiatives.

Matt Hyman attended Saddleback College from 2008 to 2010, and then went on to the University of Arizona, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in 2012.
