Suzy Makar

Suzy Makar is a Billing Consultant at Curenta. Suzy has over thirteen years of experience in procurement and has worked for Bayer since November 1996. In their previous role as Procurement Manager, they were responsible for updating the company's purchase policy, SOP, and cycle charts, and led training presentations for all divisions to explain the process. Suzy also renewed 50 annual contracts, controlled 100s of company fonts and drug logos, and developed strategic suppliers and negotiated contract agreements to reduce the number of vendors from 150+ to a group of 65 core partners.

Since joining Curenta, Suzy has been responsible for processing 25 SAP purchase orders daily according to the best quotes and samples. Suzy has also succeeded in hiring 2 offices in China "free of charge" to control the material quality before shipping to the Middle East offices. In addition, they have developed a database for all (suppliers' bid - quotes - orders - payments - etc.), and handles and follows receiving shipments with 5 international branches.

Suzy Makar has a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Fine Arts, Cairo, Egypt. Suzy also has a Theology Diploma from Evangelical Theological Seminary. In addition, they have certification from American University, Egypt in Basics of Purchasing Management (2007) and Pasadena Community College in Business Planning & Development (2012). Finally, they have certification from APICS in Supply Chain Management (BSCM), California (2014).

They are on a team with Samia Hakim - Typing Pharmacy Technician, Andrew Garcia - Typing Pharmacy Technician, and Marie Boutros - Typing Pharmacy Technician. Their manager is Sharl Metry, Central Ops Manager.
