Franziska Scherer

Franziska Scherer currently serves as Head of QC Support at CureVac, a position held since October 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing Sample Management, Document Management, Lab Management, and Laboratory Digitalization (SAP/LIMS) within Quality Control. Previously, Scherer held the role of Deputy Head of Quality Control at gempex GmbH from July 2016 to September 2021, as well as a consultant position at Omega Pharma Manufacturing GmbH & Co. KG from March 2015 to June 2016. Earlier experience includes a student role focusing on qualification and validation of production facilities and an internship in production for OHC/OTC. Scherer holds a Master of Science in Biotechnology from the University of Hohenheim and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Universität Greifswald.
