Yunpeng Pang has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific research and education. Starting in 2013, they worked as an Intern at the Division of Brain Research & Imaging Neuroscience at Wayne State University School of Medicine, where they gained proficiency in analyzing fMRI studies. In 2014 and 2015, they served as a Summer Undergraduate Research Fellow at the University of Montana, conducting experiments on neuroblastoma cells. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Teaching Assistant and then as a Teaching as Research Fellow at the University of Rochester, where they conducted educational research and served as a guest lecturer. Yunpeng then pursued their graduate studies at the University of Rochester Medical Center, where they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher, investigating stem cell and regenerative medicine. In 2022, they joined Curia (formerly AMRI) as a Research Scientist III, leading discovery projects and developing cell-based assays. Throughout their career, Yunpeng Pang has demonstrated proficiency in various research techniques and project management, with a focus on cell-based assays and stem cell research.
Yunpeng Pang received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biology and Chemistry from Kalamazoo College in 2016. They subsequently pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Neuroscience at the University of Rochester from 2016 to 2022. In 2021, Yunpeng Pang obtained a certification in Social-Behavioral-Educational Researchers from the CITI Program, a division of BRANY. In 2023, they obtained additional certifications in Leadership Journey (Level 3, Senior) from Curia Global, Writing, Editing & Communication Skills from Skillsoft, and Curia Program Management from Curia.
