Laura Parret

Laura Parret is a distinguished legal professional currently serving as a Lawyer-linguist at the Court of Justice of the European Union since September 2018. In addition to this role, Laura is a member of the editorial committee for Competitio and has held professor positions at Universiteit Utrecht and the College of Europe from 2007 to 2020. Laura has contributed as a correspondent for Markt & Mededinging and served on the editorial boards of Tijdschrift voor Staatssteunrecht and EStAL. Between 2013 and 2018, Laura practiced as an attorney-advisor at the Brussels Bar and was a partner and counsel at Houthoff. Laura obtained a PhD in Law focused on EU competition law and effective legal protection from Tilburg University, alongside an LLM in European law from Université libre de Bruxelles and a law degree from KU Leuven.
