Peiji Song has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Peiji started their career as an Infrastructure Project Assistant at Covestro in 2013 and later worked as a Financial Control Intern at Bayer Technology Services in 2015. Moving forward, Peiji joined Vision Hollow Metal Limited as a Programmer in September 2017, and then became a Sr. Programmer from September 2018 to July 2019. In 2020, they joined iKnow.ai as a Machine Learning Engineer and worked there until 2022. During this time, Peiji also worked as a Research Coordinator I at Unity Health Toronto from September 2021 to June 2022. Currently, they are employed at Curinos as a Machine Learning Engineer I, starting in June 2022.
Peiji Song has a diverse education history. In 2012, they enrolled in the University of Toronto and pursued a degree in Chemical Engineering. Peiji completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Chemical Engineering in 2017.
In 2019, Peiji attended the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies, where they participated in a Coding Boot Camp for Full Stack Web Development.
In 2020, Peiji furthered their education at the Smith School of Business at Queen's University. Peiji pursued a Master's degree in Management in Artificial Intelligence (MMAI), which they successfully completed in 2021.
Peiji has also earned various certifications to enhance their skillset. In 2017, they obtained the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from the Six Sigma Global Institute. The following year, in 2018, Peiji acquired the SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9 (CBP) certification from SAS. In 2019, they expanded their knowledge with the SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9 certification, also from SAS.
Additionally, Peiji holds the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® certification from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in October 2021. Most recently, in May 2022, they completed the Google Cloud Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals certification through Coursera.
