Jessica Hanak-Hammerl

Jessica Hanak-Hammerl has had a varied career in the publishing industry. Jessica began their career in 2005 working as a Programme Assistant for the Council of Europe in Austria. Jessica then moved to Dorling Kindersley as an International Sales Manager in the same year. In 2011 they joined Penguin Books as a Digital Product Sales Manager. In 2014 they began working for Apple, first as an Apple Books Editor for the UK, IE & Nordics and then as Manager for Apple Books UK/IE. In 2019 they began working as a Freelance Digital Content Creator and Freelance Editor for Toppsta. Jessica is currently working as an Editorial and Partnerships Manager for Curio, a position they have held since 2022.

Jessica Hanak-Hammerl completed a degree in European Social and Political Studies from UCL between 2000 and 2004, majoring in French, History, and German. Jessica also completed a degree in Lettres Modernes from Université Jean Moulin (Lyon III) between 2002 and 2003, majoring in literature, French, and History. No additional certifications have been reported.
