Kayla Buboltz

Kayla Buboltz has a diverse work experience in marketing, communications, and consulting services for brands in the food, agriculture, and companion animal care markets. Kayla has worked at Curious Plot since 2016, where they have held various roles. Kayla started as a Communications Intern in 2017, supporting account service initiatives and writing blogs and e-newsletters to maximize engagement. In 2018, Kayla became a Content Manager, responsible for managing content marketing tactics and collaborating with different teams to ensure high-quality work. In 2021, they were promoted to Senior Content Manager, where they led content strategy and execution for clients in the production agriculture and animal nutrition sectors. Currently, Kayla holds the position of Content Director at Curious Plot, leading the content practice and overseeing client content strategy development and execution. Additionally, they have experience working as a Communications Assistant at the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, where they supported the Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program through various promotional activities.

Kayla Buboltz completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Animal Science from Michigan State University. Kayla is currently pursuing a Master of Science (MS) in Agronomy and Crop Science at Iowa State University. In addition, they hold a certification in Social Media Marketing, which they obtained from HubSpot Academy in September 2022.
