Chelsea Echavarria

Chelsea Echavarria has a diverse work experience in the field of public relations and communications. Chelsea is currently serving as the President of Washington Women in Public Relations, a position they have held since January 2024. Prior to this role, they served as the Vice President and Pro Bono Co-Chair for the same organization. In addition, they were also the Social Media Chair from January 2020 to December 2021.

Chelsea has also worked at various prestigious companies. Chelsea was the Vice President at Curley Company starting from September 2023. Before that, they worked at Edelman as a Vice President from November 2021 to September 2023. Chelsea gained valuable experience as the Health Communications Manager at ICF Next from July 2018 to November 2021. Chelsea also had the role of Associate Director of Strategic Communications & Public Relations at the American Diabetes Association from October 2016 to July 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Communications Manager at The Obesity Society from March 2014 to October 2016.

Chelsea's professional journey started as an Account Executive at Ketchum Public Relations, where they worked from May 2011 to March 2014. Overall, they have demonstrated a strong commitment to the field of public relations and has held positions of increasing responsibility throughout their career.
