Komal Jassal

Komal Jassal has a diverse work experience in the field of design, spanning over several years. Komal is currently serving as the Head of Creative at CURLSMITH since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Lipsy London as a Senior Digital Designer from March 2021 to March 2023.

From June 2016 to February 2021, Komal held the role of Senior Graphic Designer at Figleaves, where they managed a team and oversaw the creation of offsite and onsite content. Komal demonstrated expertise in UX/UI design and successfully executed engaging 360 digital campaigns.

Before that, Komal worked as a Senior Digital Designer at Bathstore from November 2015 to May 2016. In this role, they contributed to website user journey planning, wireframe design, and brand development for a subsidiary brand.

As an Art Director at Tiffany Rose Maternity from April 2014 to October 2015, Komal was responsible for the creative output of all digital channels and print projects. Komal played a pivotal role in redesigning the Tiffany Rose landing pages and improving the customer journey.

Early in their career, Komal worked as a Graphic Designer at Global Brands Group (Member of Fung Group) from November 2010 to April 2014. Komal successfully redesigned website homepage and landing pages for multiple brands and contributed to web best practices and user experience research. Komal started their journey as a Junior Graphic Designer at the same company from November 2010 to April 2012.

Komal initiated their professional career as an Artworker at Debenhams from October 2008 to November 2010.

Komal Jassal has a strong educational background in graphic design. From 2004 to 2005, they attended Central Saint Martins, University of The Arts London, where they obtained a Foundation degree in Graphic Design. Subsequently, from 2005 to 2008, they continued their studies at the same institution and received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Graphic Design. Additionally, in May 2021, they obtained a certification in Designing Style Guide & UI Library from The School of UX.
