Cheri Allen

Cheri Allen has a wealth of experience in software engineering, beginning with their role as a Software Developer for Northwest Independent Ruby Development (NIRD LLC) in 2013. Cheri then moved on to become Program Coordinator for Ada Developers Academy in 2013, and Software Engineer at Glowforge in 2016. In 2017, they joined Drift as a Software Engineer, and then moved to Nordstrom in 2018 where they held the roles of Software Engineer II and Senior Software Engineer. In 2021, Cheri became a Guest Lecturer at the University of Washington Information School, and they are currently a Senior Software Engineer at Curology, a role they have held since 2022.

Cheri Allen has an educational background in Fine Arts, having earned a B.F.A. from Florida Atlantic University. Cheri also holds two certificates, one in Computer Programming from Seattle Central College and one in Ruby Programming from the University of Washington, PCE, both of which they earned between 2012 and 2013.
