From 2014 to 2016, they were a Freelance Copy Editor, Editorial Intern, and Quality Assurance Editor at YES! Media and Sublime Media, respectively. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Blog Content Manager and Writing Class Coordinator at TeenTix. During this time, they were also a Copy Editor at Mic. From 2012 to 2013, they were an Opinion Editor, Writer, and Copy Editor at The Daily of the University of Washington.
Kali Swenson attended the University of Washington from 2010 to 2013, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Language and Literature. Kali is currently enrolled at General Assembly, where they are studying HTML, CSS & Web Design Circuit.
